“Using the guides on the site, I recently changed the plugs and air filter, and cleaned the throttle body on our 2003 PT. We're on our second tank full of gas since performing the maintenance and have noticed that the engine is peppier, runs smoother and mpg has increased in combined city/highway driving. We're having a great time driving the Cruiser. Thanks for the fuel economy guide. – Alan, from California.”

 

“I just wanted to pass along the results of my "mileage miser" experiment. At "normal" highway speeds of 70mph, I routinely get 22-23 mpg. For one full tank, I specifically tried to start "gently," never exceeding 3000rpm, and I set the cruise control at 65 mph. This resulted in 26.2 mpg, or a 14-19% increase in mpg! So, count me as a law-abiding citizen from now on! - Warren, from USA.”
